Knock, Knock! by kimberlystudio Knock, Knock! by kimberlystudio
After working on this costume for 3 weeks, it's finally done! I know I have a small face so the hood might look a little big, but it fits my head well. Also I am a gril so I don't have the right body for the imagine. I still have a lot to improve, but so far I'm pretty happy.

I haven't done any commission because my job takes too much time from me. I don't even get to finish my next costume for con yet. So yeah....so sorry about that!!
Haytham's costume isn't easy, have you tried to ask any one from Chinese website to personalize for you?

That sucks! Well I appreciate the response though! :) His costume does have like WAYYY to much detail on it. lol
I have made no effort really in making my own cosplay but have been dreaming of making one for the longest time... I am probably going to make it myself, no outside resources since you are very busy :) Thanks :)

These are the paint I use for painting props, fabric and leathers, it really goes on everything and has no smells. One is called Acrylic Colour and another is Maries
You can see the original color of the vest from inside (doll and ugly)

Amazing costume!! Do you by any chance have patterns? I'm a girl too but it's been really hard to figure out...also can you tell me how much money you spent making it and what materials you used? It looks really good :D so authentic.

I don't have a pattern, or I should say I use newspaper and use my casual outfit as pattern. I threw the newspaper away after I used it >.<
I spent about $150 USD

Only $150..wow. That's cheap. Also, main question is how did you you get the more 'dirty' look. Because I'm making mine and it looks really 'clean' and crappy. And I mean it looks crappy because it looks like the ones on eBay that sell for 200+ but don't look like the costume.

I use these for coloring my costume, also fabric paint, cosmetic powder for the dirt look.

the only thing for this paint on the leather is it might get sticky.

So should I get the .75 oz set of paint or is that not enough for all the leather?

Also, for the blue and white part, what exactly did you use? Since I'm guessing the paint is only for the leather part. I use acrylics, right?

I use the paint for blue and white part, too. you can wet it for fabric material. and it should be enough for the costume

Lastly, what kind I brush did you use? What was the width and was it round or flat. D:

Might be easier but could you just list the colors you used with the paint and what amount. Like we're they four oz? Sorry for being annoying, in just trying to get this done on Friday since there's a convention this weekend. ;-;

How did you do the gathered lace at the cuffs? Is it single layered with the edge folded over and top stitched down or double layered and top stitched at the ends?

my English is not good enough to explain it but it's double layered from my sleeves.
